Summer Reading

“Give me 6 hours to chop down a tree and i will spend the first 4 sharpening the axe” Abe Lincoln said.  For the remainder of this summer I am sharpening my axe (Mind) with some Summer Reading.

Here are a few books that I have read in the past that I recommend for anyone on the entrepreneurial path.  The E-Myth Revisited (Entrepreneurial Myth) by Michael Gerber.  This book is small but very powerful.  Some take aways are: “work on your business not in your business”, “come up with an org chart showing positions of your future company so you have a road map for growth”.

Mastering the Rockefeller Habits by Verne Harnish.  Another small but powerful book.  The book talks about strategy and goals in growing your business.  There are a few great forms shown in the book that you can download as well.
