I am really enjoying watching Cornell win at the NCAA tournament. As an alum it makes me smile but really because it is a “Cinderella Story.”
People are asking how does a school with no scholarship money compete against the other “sports machines,” the favorites?
I belive it comes down to the following: 1) get a group of smart, passionate players together; 2) provide a playbook of proven plays that work; 3) practice the plays by working hard at it; and 4) the core team has been working at it for several years.
